Stefan Donner – Organist

stefanpaul

A new duo ensemble, Stefan and Paul have the wonderful opportunity of working together on a wide variety of music. The combination of violin and organ is an instrumentation that is not widely heard in the music industry, but has a world of musical possibilities and little discovered repertoire proving to provide a uniquely satisfying concert experience! Much of the music that Stefan and Paul play is from the Baroque era – music of Bach, Händel and Corelli – often performed by both musicians on period instruments. However, this ensemble has also played original works for violin and organ from 19th Century composer Joseph Gabriel Rheinberger. Repertoire for this ensemble also extends into the 20th century compositions.
